For All To See

Hands up those who have spotted how bad a blogger I am. It's nearly September and nary a post from me to assuage the megrims of coming Autumn. (You may not get many words from me but you do get some quality ones.)

I have been rather busy recently. I work from home, and while this can be great in many respects when the deadlines bite you tend to work long into the evening.

I have however managed a poem.

For all to See

Onto the void you scrawled your words
And there I was. For all to see.
Lit up, as struck by lightening
My bones showing through
Transparent flesh.
Stripped by your wit
Revealed by your insight,
Your sensitivity.

Your view of us, your truth
There we were. For all to see.

Onto the void I crawled.
Spread myself out naked.
Vulnerable.
To fill in the gaps,
To paint in my colours
For all to see.
